The new alarm sender, designed in cooperation with DesignConcern AS has been awarded the red dot award for design excellence in the category Lifescience and Medicine and is top nominated for the Index design Award 2007 in the category BODY.
The alarm sender was designed with users need to call for help in mind. It can be used on the wrist like a watch, hung arount the neck like a necklace or conveniently clipped to a pocket or lapel.
Typical users would be elderly assisted care patients or the elderly who are still able to live in their own homes. It is also used by nurses and other personel as an alarm in case of a physical attack. |
